The World of Beatrix Potter in Bowness-on-Windermere is celebrating it's 25th birthday, and what would have been the author's 150th birthday.
A series of events are taking place, designed to tempt tourists to the Lake District.
The museum has seen a slight drop in visitors since the floods of December, like many tourism businesses, but its birthday celebrations are helping to keep numbers up.
The stories of characters like Jemima Puddleduck, Peter Rabbit and Mrs Tiggy Winkle have captivated children in Beatrix Potter's stories for 150 years. Now they will be told in a musical.
