Labour Lord condemns flood recovery efforts
The government is not doing enough to help councils deal with the clean up and repair work after Storm Desmond and Eva, according to a Labour Lord and Cumbria councillor.
Lord Liddle has urged ministers to do more to help local authorities who are under pressure to make budget cuts.
He also said that the forty million pounds from central government was not enough given the total repair bill in Cumbria would be ten times that amount.
