Watch: Peebleshire man first to play bagpipes at South Pole

A Peebleshire man has become the first recorded person to play the bagpipes at the South Pole.

Jak Kennedy, 29, from Carlops went on a personal expedition to Antarctica to fulfil a lifelong ambition.

Jak taped hand warmers to the instrument so he could play one rendition of Scotland the Brave.

He plans to claim the same title at the North Pole later this year.
