Carlisle kitchen salesman turned international superstar, Matthew Pagan, returns to his hometown this weekend to host a charity concert at The Sands Centre.

Male musical theatre group, Collabro, found fame after winning ITV's Britain's Got Talent in 2014. But for one night only, Matthew is leaving behind his four bandmates and swapping the bright lights of London for a performance at The Sands Centre.

Matthew's 'Where It Began' evening is to fundraise for the Eden Valley Hospice, who cared for his grandfather before he passed away in 2013.

The stage features a 12 piece orchestra alongside backing vocals from Stanwix Primary School pupils, music from Matthew's old teachers and performances from special guests including Emma Jones from Wigton who competed on this year's Britain's Got Talent.

After the concert, Matthew returns to Japan with Collabro to complete their 2015 international tour, before returning home again to Carlisle for Christmas with his family.
