Every year more than 6,000 people in the UK take their own lives.

And across the world, someone dies every six seconds through suicide.

John Brown's father killed himself 23 years ago.

The scars remain, but he's is hoping to turn a traumatic moment in his life into something positive, and is now a facilitator for the Cumbria branch of SOBs - Survivors of Bereavement from Suicide.

They are in the process of setting up a website to help people who have been affected.
