Classical pianist performs in the Lakes

Classical Pianist Emmanuel Vass was named as ‘one to watch’ by The Independent and ‘rising star’ by BBC Music Magazine and as ‘unsigned artist of the month’ by Yamaha.

The 26 year old is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most charismatic pianists on the contemporary scene. His chart-topping, broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM reflect both his eclectic taste in music and his supreme versatility as a pianist.

He is at ease with the challenges of Bach as with the demanding pianistic technique required for his own arrangements - in the manner of Liszt - of the James Bond theme, Bohemian Rhapsody, and traditional sea shanties.

His performances of these have drawn huge attention on YouTube.

Emmanuel will be performing a concert this evening at St Michael’s Hawkshead in the Lake District.
