Scottish league kicks off
The league season kicks off this weekend with all four of our Scottish teams in action.
After spectacular campaigns last year both Queen of the South and Stranraer have lost a lot of players to clubs in higher divisions but expectations remain high for more success this year.
Queen of the South surprised a lot of people last year when they finished third in the championship making the SPL play offs ahead of sides with much bigger budgets.
Manager James Fowler says the team will continue to aim high this season.
Former Ayr manager Bryan Reid is the new man in charge at Stranraer FC.
He says he is on the lookout for new players to bring to Stair Park to replenish the squad.
