Protecting Cumbria's birds of prey

Cumbria Police have teamed up with the Lake District Wildlife Park to help train officers about birds of prey.

There are more than one hundred and fifty laws in the UK designed to protect wildlife.

The most common crimes include poisoning, poaching and badger baiting.

Cumbria has one full-time wildlife crime officer who is responsible for dealing with a variety of offences.
