Borders man battling bullies with new app
An anti-bullying app developed by a man from the Borders is being used by schools across the UK.
Tootoot was developed by Michael Brennan, from Berwick-Upon-Tweed, who experienced bullying himself when he was at school.
One of the rising problems addressed by Tootoot is cyber bullying, which grants bullies the cover of anonymity.
Tootoot counteracts this by ensuring that schoolchildren can report bullying incidents anonymously themselves.
The report will then be read by staff at the school, but no one else.
The app is proving popular.

The founder of Tootoot is delighted with the success the app has had so far, but he says he wants it to be used in all schools:
