Man hospitalised after car and van collide

A man has been hospitalised after a car and van collided in Dumfries and Galloway this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Dalbeattie at around 11am.

A man from the car was taken by ambulance to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.

The driver of the van had a precautionary check-up by paramedics at the scene.
