Cumberland FA girls show off skills in Manchester

Young female footballers in Cumbria have had the chance to show off their skills at a festival in Manchester.

Players from the Under 9s through to the Under 15s took part in friendly matches against teams from the Isle of Man, Cheshire, Manchester, Lancashire and Westmorland.

All of the players are part of the Cumberland FA's Girls Player Development Centre, and the event was part of its 15-week coaching programme.

The Girls PDC programme is currently going through an end of season review, which will determine their licence application for next year.
