Queen of the South are hoping to record their second win of the season against Rangers, at Palmerston Park this evening (April 9).

The Doonhamers ran out 2-0 winners in December, in a game that was overshadowed by the announcement of Rangers Manager Ally McCoist's resignation.

They then battled to a 1-1 draw at Ibrox in March, when 17-year-old substitute Aidan Smith rescued a point.

This time around, Iain Russell and Michael Paton are injury doubts for the Doonhamers, and Paul Burns and Mark Millar have already been ruled out.

But Rangers Manager Stuart McCall has defensive worries, with captain Lee McCulloch serving a two-match ban, and Ricky Foster and Steven Smith injured.

Queen of the South are currently fifth in the Scottish Championship table, on 50 points.
