Music for athletes: students design clip for earphones

A group of students have invented a new earphone that could benefit athletes, joggers and anyone who enjoys going to their local gym.

Team Gecho, from Caldew School, say the ear clip can hold ordinary earphones in place, even during intense workouts.

The team's design was made a reality by Fab Lab in Cockermouth, who produced two prototypes using a 3D-printer.

Team Gecho is the school's entry to this year's Young Enterprise competition.
