Ashcroft Poll: SNP surge in 'no' and 'yes' voting areas'
The polls for eight constituencies in Scotland were published in tonight's Lord Ashcroft Polls.
They suggest SNP gains in the seats currently held by Labour MPs Gordon Brown, Alistair Darling, Sandra Osborne and Russell Brown, and Lib Dem MPs Charles Kennedy and Robert Smith - with a dead heat in Scotland's sole Tory MP David Mundell's seat, and Scottish Labour leader Jim Murphy’s seat within the margin of error.
Scottish National Party's General Election Campaign Director Angus Robertson MP has said the polls "are very encouraging, but we aren't taking a single seat or vote for granted in May".
