Campaign launched for Cumbrian mayor

A campaign to change the way Cumbria is governed has launched today.

Cumbria Yes is pushing for the county to have a Directly Elected Mayor, like Boris Johnson in London.

They want a referendum, and if five percent of voting Cumbrians sign their petition, that will be guaranteed.
