28 jobs to go at City Link in Carlisle

The firm entered administration on Christmas Eve.

City Link workers at the firm's Carlisle depot will lose their jobs on New Year's Eve, according to the RMT Union.

Currently 28 staff are based at the depot.

And meetings are taking place across the country this morning between staff and the firm's administrators, EY.

Many haven't been officially told that the company has entered administration, only learning from ITV news on Christmas Day.

The RMT Union says it expects the majority of staff to be made redundant on New Year's Eve, with some kept on to complete deliveries and wind the company down.
