Former police officer jailed for sex attacks

A former Scottish Borders police officer has been jailed for 12 years, after a series of sex attacks, and assaults.

He was convicted in November of the offences, which took place over a 20-year period.

The 48-year-old was a serving police officer when many of the offences were committed, but is no longer employed by Police Scotland.

Storey, 48, formerly of Melrose, was convicted of eight charges against three women and a child. The jury found him guilty of rape, attempted rape, indecent assault and assault.
