South Lakeland Mind in Kendal, which helps people with their mental health is making a desperate plea for help.
It costs £60,000 to run. This money goes on a range of essential costs, from staff and rooms to professional supervision for counsellors. There are just 4 paid members of staff working the equivalent of 2.7 full-time jobs. Everyone else is a volunteer. There are 65 volunteers in total.
The charity's been surviving on big donations but with no more coming in, it's appealing to the NHS as well as private donors to help.
Jonathan Ingram's the Chief Officer of South Lakeland Mind.
Nationally, Mind is calling for more public spending on mental health. It says local authorities in England spend an average of 1.36% of their public health budget on mental health.
