Review into Underley Hall abuse investigation
A review has been announced into how Cumbria Police investigated allegations of sexual and physical abuse at a former school in the county.
Cumbria's Police and Crime Commissioner has instigated the internal review after meeting two former pupils who went to Underley Hall at Kirkby Lonsdale.
The two men raised questions about the police investigation in the 1990s.
The review, which is backed by the Chief Constable, will look at the standard of the investigation, and whether there are any misconduct issues.
