A dry evening and night, with clouds breaking to allow some clear intervals. Remaining misty over some coasts and high ground with a few fog patches.

Chilly by dawn in east, however light rain will spread across Dumfries and Galloway. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Tomorrow:

The east will be dry and bright initially, and becoming notably milder, then turning cloudier with briefly some rain.

For the west it is dull and rainy with mist, then drier spells later. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
