The People's Millions: Final results

The People's Millions

The People's Millions offers charities and voluntary groups the chance to win one of four prizes of £50,000 for the project of their choice.

It is run by ITV and the Big Lottery, and is understandably very popular.

Last night we saw Annan Athletic Football Club who want to involve the community more in what they do, with breakfast clubs and events for older people.

For them, the Hub is the Club.

Then there is the Helena Thompson Museum in West Cumbria and they want to 'CHEW' things over - with the Children Heritage Empowered Workington - through which they would like to introduce some state of the art interactive displays.

You had the chance to vote on who got the money - find out who received the cheque from Fiona Armstrong below.

However, it wasn't all commiserations to Annan Athletic because, as they got the next highest number of votes, they were the runners up in this year's People's Millions.

Here they are celebrating with their own £50,000 cheque. The money will allow them to expand the services, other than football, that they offer to the community.
