Torrential rain causes floods
Torrential rain has caused floods in many parts of the region.
Roads in the Scottish Borders have been affected by flooding following torrential rain overnight.
The main A68 trunk road was particularly badly affected by floods and surface water on Friday morning.
Environment Agency SEPA has issued a Flood Alert for the region, saying heavy and persistent rain is to continue into Saturday.
5 areas have been issued with a Flood Warning:
Galashiels including Bowland
Greenlaw to Allerton
Peebles (Earlston water)
Romannobridge to Lyne Station
Shiplaw to Crossburn including Eddleston
