Princess Royal opens Stranraer riding school for the disabled
The Princess Royal will open a new riding school for the disabled in Stranraer. She is President of the Riding for Disabled Association.
The princess will spend a few hours watching adult and children's displays put on by the local branch in the new arena at the Terally Bay riding centre at Port Logan.
The Terally Equestrian centre is the only one between Kilmarnock and Castle Douglas and now, thanks to the new arena, local riding groups can operate throughout the year rather than just the summer.
