New affordable housing for Penrith

Dozens of families are benefitting from new affordable housing in Cumbria. The £3 million project is providing 10 two or three bedroom houses and 18 apartments for people who would otherwise struggle to afford their own home. The low-cost properties are available for rent, and later some will be sold on a shared ownership basis. The first residents have started moving in, including mother and son, Deborah and Lucas Atkinson.
