A look ahead to the second live semi-final of Britain's Got Talent

The Britain's Got Talent live semi-final shows started this week with the first eight acts taking to the stage to perform in front of the judges once again in a bid to make it through to this weekend’s final.

Finn a former police dog from Hertfordshire and his handler Dave Wardell were one of the first acts to secure a place in the final - with a bit of help in the shape of some adorable Essex Police dog puppies.

Tonight 4MG Magician, James Samuel from Thetford, will be doing all he can to join Finn and Dave in Sunday's live grand finale.

The prize - a place on the bill at the Royal Variety show. It all gets underway in the West End of London in just over an hour's time.
