Local Elections 2019 in the Anglia region
There are local elections on 44 councils in the Anglia region on Thursday 2 May 2019 in the biggest political test since the General Election of 2017.
Stevenage: Labour hold council and gain seats in process
Labour has held it's majority in Stevenage which means they've had control of the council since it was set up in 1973.
They gained a seat in the process along with the Liberal Democrats while the Conservatives lost out on two seats.
