The line between Norwich and Liverpool street is experiencing delays after yesterday's heavy winds.
This morning more trees fell onto overhead wires between Stowmarket and Norwich. Greater Anglia say they expect the disruption is expected to continue until later this afternoon.
Around 1,300 homes and business in Suffolk are still experiencing power cuts with a further 700 in Norfolk affected. UK Power Networks say they are aiming to have power restored by the end of today.
In Hertfordshire the remaining trees on the roads have been made safe and will be removed today.
Hundreds of homes in the East of England are still without power after strong winds battered the region.
The strong winds are blowing down trees and causing road closures in the region.
Problems are expected until around 9am this morning, with delays for those travelling and may cause country roads to be blocked further.
