Normal service has resumed on the regions rail network following storm damage early on Thursday 18.
Trees fell on tracks and overhead lines during the strong winds. More damaged trees fell on overhead lines on Friday 19 adding to the disruption.
They were removed in the morning and normal service had resumed by 4pm.
UK Power Networks say the vast majority of homes and businesses have had their power restored and hope to have the last few completed today.
Hundreds of homes in the East of England are still without power after strong winds battered the region.
The strong winds are blowing down trees and causing road closures in the region.
Problems are expected until around 9am this morning, with delays for those travelling and may cause country roads to be blocked further.
