Man arrested on suspicion of murder after woman's body discovered in Bedfordshire

A man has been arrested after a woman's body was discovered in Bedfordshire

Police investigating the death of a woman, whose body was found in undergrowth in Houghton Regis have arrested a man on suspicion of murder.

The body of Sharon Fade, 45, from Houghton Regis, was discovered by on Tuesday afternoon.

An investigation has been launched by the Beds, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit.

The police say they are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the death and are following a number of lines of enquiry and are keen to hear from anyone who saw Sharon Fade in the days before her body was found.

She was last seen wearing light coloured leggings, with a dark pattern, a light coloured t-shirt, a black leather jacket and blue, red and white Nike trainers.

She may also have been carrying a black Nike shoulder bag,

The man under arrest is being held at Luton Police Station.
