16 stowaways found in tanker at M1 service station

Sixteen people were found stowed away in an articulated tanker at a motorway service station near Milton Keynes, fire crews said.

Firefighters used shovels, crowbars and respirators when investigating the huge vehicle, which was also filled with plastic pellets.

The incident happened at Newport Pagnell services at the M1 northbound lorry park.
