The world's only remaining end of the pier show is marking its 40th birthday.

The show at Cromer is said to be the last summer variety show of its kind staged on a pier.

It features a blend of comedy, singing and dancing that has proved popular over the years.

The End of Pier Show celebrates 40 years.

ITV News Anglia hosted a special programme from Cromer Pier presented by Becky Jago and Jonathan Wills.

From dancing girls to singers and comedians, the programme looked at 40 years of seaside specials and how tourism contributes billions of pounds to the local economy.

It featured the Simmons brothers - Alan and Keith who were top of the bill in the second show in 1979, the director of the End of Pier Show, Di Cooke and Bradley Walsh who appeared in three end of pier shows.
