South West Norfolk MP Elizabeth Truss, who was formerly Justice Secretary, has been moved to Chief Secretary to the Treasury.

Truss was promoted to the role of Justice Secretary in Theresa May's cabinet reshuffle last July.

Her new role is the second most senior ministerial position in the department after the Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Illness on election night meant she wasn't there to hear she'd won the seat for the Tories once more.

Meanwhile, Witham MP Priti Patel will stay on as International Development Secretary.
