Great Yarmouth MP gets Cabinet seat in reshuffle

The Greay Yarmouth MP Brandon Lewis has retained his position as a Home Office minister but will now attend Cabinet in what is seen as a promotion.

His new job, however, is not as a full Cabinet Minister.

Mr Lewis was appointed Police and Fire Service Minister in the Home Office by Theresa May in July 2016.

He has been the MP for Great Yarmouth since 2010 and was one of the few Conservative MPs in the Anglia region to see his majority increase in Thursday's General Election.
