Norfolk tennis player Alfie Hewett has won his first Grand Slam single's final at the French Open.

The 19-year-old from Cantley near Norwich came from a set down to beat last year's champion Gustavo Fernandez in the men's wheelchair final at the Roland-Garros.

He missed out on the chance to take the double's title alongside fellow Briton Gordon Reid.

The pair lost against France’s Stéphane Houdet and Nicolas Peifer 6-4 6-3.
