Suspended Lawrence ruled out of East Anglian derby
In-form Ipswich Town winger Tom Lawrence has been ruled out of the upcoming East Anglian derby after picking up his 10th booking of the season against Brighton last night.
The Welshman has been in inspired form for Town recently, scoring eight goals since the turn of the year.
However, he is now facing a two-match suspension - meaning he'll sit out Saturday's home clash with Leeds United, and the trip to face Norwich City on February 26.
Leicester City loanee Lawrence helped Ipswich claim an impressive point at second-placed Brighton last night, setting up Luke Chambers' goal in a 1-1 draw.
Norwich City have been dealt a blow of their own ahead of the derby, with the news that striker Nélson Oliveira is facing 4-6 weeks out with a foot injury.
