The M1 near Daventry has re-opened to traffic after the body of a man was found on the northbound carriageway in the early hours of today (10th Jan).
Northamptonshire police say the man was hit several times.
Highways England say the road has now been cleared and all lanes are re-opened. It was affecting traffic between Junction 16 and 18.
