MK Dons' bid to appoint Steven Gerrard as their new manager may have hit a potential stumbling block, after reports emerged that Italian giants Inter Milan have also made contact with the 36-year-old.
Early talks are understood to have taken place between the former Liverpool midfielder and the Dons who are on the lookout for a new boss after parting company with Karl Robinson last month.
However, according to The Independent, Inter are keen to sign him on a six-month contract - leaving Gerrard with a decision to make on whether he wants to continue his playing career.
