The Home Secretary Amber Rudd has signed an order for Lauri Love to be extradited to America where he's accused of hacking into US government computer networks.
Mr Love, from Stradishall near Newmarket, is alleged to have stolen significant amounts of data from US agencies including the federal Reserve, Nasa and the FBI.
He could face up to 99 years in prison if found guilty.
A number of MPs had called on Barack Obama to block his extradition on the grounds that they were "concerned for the safety" of Mr Love, who has Asperger's Syndrome.
However, that campaign appears to have fallen on death ears with the Home Secretary confirming that he will now go on trial in the States.
