A man has died after a light aircraft came down at Bourn Airfield, near Cambourne. Another man has be taken to hospital with seriously injuries.
Man dies after plane crashes in Cambridgeshire
A man has died following a plane crash in Cambridgeshire.
The light aircraft came down at Bourn Airfield near Cambourne this morning.
Emergency services were sent in at about 11.30am.
Two air ambulances, a hazardous area response team ,a rapid response vehicle and ambulance crew were all at the scene.
Police and fire crews also attended.
One man died at the scene. Another man was taken Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch are investigating. Inspectors are expected to be at the site of the crash over the next few days.
