Giant 95-stone Essex pumpkin breaks UK record
A giant pumpkin grown in Essex has broken a record to become the heaviest in the UK.
The pumpkin weighed in at 605kg (95 stone) at the Pumpkin festival in Southampton.
The pumpkin was grown from the world's most expensive seed at RHS Garden Hyde Hall in Chelmsford.
It was grown for 149 days by gardener Matthew Oliver and is the UK's heaviest pumpkin grown outdoors.
