New film aims to put Northamptonshire on the map

The social enterprise group Screen Northants has been shooting its latest movie with the aim of using the film industry to raise the profile of the county.

It's described as a High School Musical-style production following a group of students through a year of university. It was written by Suzanna Storey who lives in Northampton.

Dozens of local extras had turned up to take part and a number of the main cast members were students from Northampton University.
