A fire at a former hospital in Norfolk is being treated as arson. At its height, eight crews were on the scene at Macmillan Way in Little Plumstead, near Norwich, overnight on Saturday attempting to get the fire under control.

Dramatic footage of fire at former Norfolk hospital

A former Norfolk hospital has been destroyed after a large fire ripped through the building on Sunday.

The footage, which was filmed by Emily Amos, shows the fire ripping through the 19th century building.

Eight fire crews were on the scene at Macmillan Way in Little Plumstead, near Norwich, attempting to get the fire under control.

Work will continue on today to try to make it safe for investigators to get in.

It is not known yet what started the blaze. Crews said investigations could not begin until the building was stable.
