Stone curlew numbers go up in the East
Stone curlews are one of the UK's rarest breeding birds. Thirty years ago they were on the brink of extinction. But a project here in the East has helped turn that around.
Conservationists have been working with farmers in the Brecks and along the Suffolk Coast to help save the birds. And thankfully, it's working. The numbers have gone from fewer than 100 breeding pairs to more than 240.
Tanya Mercer went along to see the project in action.
