Five passengers involved in a bus crash in Luton suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries, according to paramedics.
The East of England Ambulance Service said they sent six ambulances and a hazardous area response team to the scene near Hatters Way in Luton at around 3pm yesterday.
Crews were called to reports of a crash involving two buses.
Seventeen patients were treated at the scene and 15 patients were taken to Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: "Five of those patients required immobilisation and the others were all classed as walking wounded."
