Torrential rain leaves village green underwater

Heavy showers have caused the stream at South Creake in Norfolk to overflow its banks.

Kassandra Wells sent us these pictures. She says she's never seen such bad flooding in the village.

The Met Office has issued a weather warning for the region, warning that heavy showers could cause disruption until 10pm tonight.

Some will become thundery, leading to slow-moving downpours across the warning area. Some locations will miss these but where they do occur, please be aware of possible localised flooding and disruption to travel. Lightning could be an additional hazard.

A viewer in King's Lynn tweeted us this video of thunder over the town.
