Two men killed in Essex crash named

Two men who died following a road traffic collision have been identified.

A Ford Focus and a Kia Sedona were in collision on the A133 at Weeley at 5pm on Monday, March 28.

The Ford driver, Victor Robert Taylor, 70, of Red Rose Walk, Clacton, died at the scene.

The Kia driver, Frank Simmonds, 74, of Weeting, Norfolk, died at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge on Wednesday, March 30.

A 65-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Kia, is in a stable condition in hospital.
