Government pledge £70 million to new Lowestoft crossing
The Prime Minister has announced that more than £70 million will be invested by the government to ensure a third water crossing in Lowestoft goes ahead.
Momentous decision for town, says MP
The Waveney MP Peter Aldous has welcomed news of a third river crossing for Lowestoft as a huge boost for the town. He said it would bring jobs and investment to the area after 75 years of campaigning.
