The Northamptonshire mother of Barbara Leach, one of the victims of the Yorkshire Ripper, has welcomed news that her daughter's killer could be moved to a prison.

Psychiatrists have decided that Peter Sutcliffe is no longer mentally ill and should be moved out of the high security Broadmoor Hospital where he has been held for over 30 years.

Sixty nine year old Sutcliffe was given 20 life terms for murdering 13 women and attacking others.
