The parents of Nick Alexander - the only British victim of the Paris terror attacks - attended a moving memorial service in the French capital today.

The 35-year-old's name was among 130 read out during the service to remember those killed on November 13th.

The poignant event was attended by French president Francois Hollande, friends and family of the victims, and some of the many people seriously injured in the co-ordinated shootings and bombings.

It comes on the day the inquest into the death of Nick was opened and adjourned in Chelmsford.
