Pi's the limit: Merger aims to create more kid coders
Cambridge-based Raspberry Pi has announced it is merging with a computer teaching project Code Club.
Raspberry Pi makes cheap microcomputers to help teach children how to code. It says the merger will allow it to help more children learn how to use computers.
Since the microcomputer was launched in 2012 - 7 million of the devices have been sold.
Code Club was established in 2012 to teach children aged nine to 11 how to code in languages such as Scratch, HTML, CSS and Python. There are now almost 4,000 clubs across the country.
